Activities
- Animal Sounds Game:
Make different animal sounds and encourage Agnes and Ryla to guess the animal. For example, say "Woof!" and ask, "What animal says woof?"
- Animal Charades:
Act out different animals without using words. Encourage Agnes and Ryla to guess the animal and say its name. For example, flap your arms like a bird and say, "What am I?"
- Animal Parade:
Walk around the house or yard pretending to be different animals. Ask Agnes and Ryla to join in and say the names of the animals they are pretending to be.
- Storytime with Animal Sounds:
Read a short story about animals, emphasizing their names and sounds. Pause and ask the girls to repeat the names of the animals after you.
