Objective

Materials and Prep

• Simple Bible storybooks or printed stories (optional, if available)
• A small basket or box for collecting items during activities

Before the lesson, consider familiarizing yourself with the stories of “The Good Shepherd” and “Jesus Blesses the Children” to engage the student effectively.

Activities

• Storytime:

  Read a simple Bible story focusing on God's love, such as “The Good Shepherd” or “Jesus Blesses the Children.” Use soft toys to act out the story, helping the child visualize the characters and events.

• Coloring God’s Love:

  Provide colorful paper and crayons for the child to draw pictures of what they think God's love looks like. Encourage them to express their feelings through colors and shapes.

• Nature Walk:

  Take a short walk outside and point out the beauty of nature. Discuss how God made everything and is always with us. Collect small items like leaves or flowers to bring back for a craft.

• Prayer Time:

  Teach the child a simple prayer thanking God for His love and presence. Encourage them to say what they are thankful for, using their own words.
