Before the lesson, ensure that Riley is excited about writing their name. You can talk about why names are special and how they represent each person.

Activities

  • Rainbow Name Writing

    Riley will write their name using different colors to create a rainbow effect. This activity helps with fine motor skills and makes writing fun!

  • Name Tracing

    Draw big letters of Riley's name on the paper and have Riley trace over them with their writing tool. This will help them practice the shapes of the letters.

  • Name Art

    Riley can decorate their name with drawings or stickers. This will make their name unique and help them take pride in it!
