Before the lesson, ensure that the student has a quiet space to work, and gather any animal books or resources you may have at home to help with research.
Activities
-
Animal Research:
Choose an animal to research. Use books or online resources to find out interesting facts about the animal's habitat, diet, and behavior. Write down three fun facts in the notebook.
-
Animal Art:
After researching, draw a picture of the chosen animal in its natural habitat. Use colored pencils or crayons to make the drawing colorful and lively.
-
Story Time:
Create a short story about the animal you researched. Write about an adventure the animal goes on, using the facts you learned. Share the story with a family member.
-
Animal Sounds:
Learn and mimic the sounds of your chosen animal. You can look up videos to hear how they sound and practice making those sounds yourself!
