Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns, and using kind words to interact positively with others.

Materials and Prep

• Prepare a comfortable space for activities where the student can easily move around and engage with you.
• Be ready to model positive interactions and provide guidance during activities.

Activities

• Role-Playing Games: Act out different scenarios, like meeting a new friend or asking to play a game. Take turns being different characters to practice using kind words and sharing.

• Compliment Circle: Sit in a circle and take turns giving compliments to each other. This helps practice positive communication and boosts self-esteem.

• Sharing Time: Bring out a few toys or books and take turns choosing one to play with. Practice saying, “Can I play with that?” and “Thank you for sharing!”

• Feelings Charades: Take turns acting out different emotions (happy, sad, angry) and guess what they are. Discuss how to express these feelings to others in a kind way.
