Objective

By the end of this lesson, Isa Vitoria will explore various subjects including Language Arts, Social Studies, Geography, Science, History, Bible Study, Math, Arts and Crafts, Music, Dance, Libras, and Portuguese. She will gain a deeper understanding of how these subjects connect to each other and the world around her while having fun!

Materials and Prep

  • Notebook and pencils for writing and drawing
  • Colored paper and craft supplies (scissors, glue, markers)
  • Piano or keyboard for music practice
  • A map or globe for geography activities
  • Books or printouts for Bible study and history
  • Simple math problems or worksheets
  • Music playlist for dance activities
  • Resources for learning Libras and Portuguese

Activities

  • Story Creation: Isa will write a short story incorporating elements from her favorite subjects. She can include characters who travel through different countries and times!
  • Crafting a World Map: Using colored paper, Isa will create a simple map of the world, labeling different countries and adding fun facts about each one.
  • Piano Performance: Isa will practice a short piece on the piano and then perform it for the family. She can choose a song that has a story or meaning behind it.
  • Dance Party: Isa will have a mini dance session where she can express her feelings through movement, using music that she loves.
  • Libras Learning: Isa will learn a few basic signs in Libras to communicate simple phrases. She can practice with family members.
  • Math Treasure Hunt: Create a treasure hunt around the house or yard with math problems that lead to the next clue!
  • Bible Story Time: Isa will read a Bible story and then illustrate her favorite part, explaining it to someone else.
  • Portuguese Language Fun: Isa will practice a few Portuguese words and phrases by labeling items around the house in Portuguese.
