Activities
- Start by discussing the concept of ancient creatures with the student. Ask them what they already know and what creatures they are interested in.
- Using the internet or books, explore different ancient creatures together. Encourage the student to choose one or two creatures that they find most fascinating.
- Have the student draw and color their chosen ancient creatures on a piece of paper. They can include any details they have learned about the creature.
- After completing the drawings, ask the student to share their chosen creatures and explain why they find them interesting.
- As a fun extension activity, you can create a mini timeline with the student. Start with the first multicellular organisms and gradually add the different creatures they have learned about, including dinosaurs and creatures from the ice age.
