Before starting the lesson, make sure to set up a cozy learning area where Anthony feels comfortable and can focus. Have the materials ready for the activities planned.

Activities

• Draw Your Learning Journey

  Anthony will draw a picture of what he thinks learning looks like. He can include things like books, computers, and even fun activities like playing outside! After he finishes, he can explain his drawing to you.

• Homeschooling Discussion

  Have a short discussion with Anthony about what homeschooling means. Ask him to share what he likes about being homeschooled and how he feels about learning at home.

• Learning Benefits Collage

  Using the paper and crayons, Anthony can create a collage that shows the benefits of learning. He can use words, drawings, or even shapes to represent ideas like "fun," "knowledge," and "growing."

• Story Time

  Read a short story together that highlights the importance of learning. After reading, ask Anthony what he learned from the story and how it relates to his own learning experience.
