Objective

Materials and Prep

Before the lesson, it would be good to know some basic facts about Indigenous Australians, such as their connection to the land, their traditional stories, and their art.
Activities
- Storytime: Read a traditional Indigenous Australian story. After reading, discuss what the story means and how it relates to the culture.
- Art Creation: Using the colored pencils or crayons, Jeremahli can create his own piece of art inspired by Indigenous Australian art styles.
- Nature Walk: Go outside and collect natural materials. Discuss how Indigenous Australians use nature for art and tools.
- Song and Dance: Learn a simple Indigenous song or dance. Talk about how music and dance are important in their culture.
