Objective
By the end of this lesson, the Eighth grade homeschool student will be able to demonstrate basic riding skills and knowledge of safety precautions while riding a mini bike.
Materials and Prep
- Mini bike
- Helmet
- Protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads, etc.)
- Wide open outdoor space
- Basic knowledge of mini bike controls and safety rules
Activities

Warm-up exercises: Begin the lesson with a series of warm-up exercises to prepare the body for physical activity. Include stretching exercises for the legs, arms, and back.

Introduction to mini bike controls: Explain the different controls of a mini bike, including the throttle, brakes, and clutch (if applicable). Demonstrate how to operate each control and allow the student to practice using them.
