Materials and Prep
- Paper and colored pencils or markers
- A comfortable space for discussion and activities

Activities
-
Creative Drawing:
The student will draw a picture that represents what they think ADHD looks like. This could include images of thoughts racing, distractions, or how it feels to have ADHD. Afterward, they can share their drawing and explain their ideas.
-
Famous Faces:
Research and create a brief presentation about a famous person with ADHD. The student can choose someone like Michael Phelps or Jim Carrey. They will share what the person achieved and how they managed their ADHD.
-
Role-Playing:
The student will role-play different scenarios that someone with ADHD might experience, such as focusing in a classroom or dealing with distractions at home. This will help them empathize with others who have ADHD.
-
Mindfulness Minute:
Practice a short mindfulness or breathing exercise to help with focus. The student can sit quietly for one minute, focusing on their breath. Discuss how this can help people with ADHD manage their symptoms.
