By the end of this lesson, you will be able to practice basic arithmetic skills using dice.

Materials and Prep

  • Two dice

No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Roll the dice and count the number of dots on each die.
  2. Add the numbers together to find the sum.
  3. Subtract the smaller number from the larger number to find the difference.
  4. Multiply the numbers together to find the product.
  5. Divide the larger number by the smaller number to find the quotient.

Repeat these activities multiple times to practice different arithmetic operations.
