Activities
- Barbie Time Travel: Have the student imagine that their Barbie doll can travel through time. Ask them to pick a specific time period in history and create a story where Barbie experiences life during that time. Encourage them to use their creativity and incorporate historical details.
- Baking Through the Ages: Explain to the student that baking has been a part of human history for thousands of years. Together, choose a historical recipe (e.g., ancient Egyptian bread, medieval gingerbread) and guide the student through the process of baking it. While baking, discuss how the recipe connects to the time period and what ingredients were available.
