Materials and Prep

Before starting the lesson, familiarize yourself with the different landmarks and their locations on the map or globe.
Activities
- Pretend Play: Start by putting on your crown or tiara and dressing up as a princess. Imagine you are ruling a kingdom and have the power to explore the world.
- Landmark Exploration: Show your child the picture cards of different landmarks. Discuss each landmark and its location. Encourage your child to point to the corresponding place on the map or globe.
- Draw Your Kingdom: Provide your child with paper and crayons. Ask them to draw their own kingdom, including landmarks they would like to have. Help them label the landmarks and discuss their significance.
- Kingdom Adventure: Create a story where your child's kingdom needs to send a princess ambassador to visit a specific landmark. Encourage your child to role-play as the princess ambassador and describe the journey to the chosen landmark.
