Activities

  1. Create Your Own Map: Give the student a blank piece of paper and ask them to draw their own map. Encourage them to include different features like mountains, rivers, and buildings. They can use colored pencils or markers to make it more fun and vibrant.
  2. Map Exploration: Show the student a printed world map. Ask them to identify different continents and oceans on the map. Discuss the concept of land and water on Earth.
  3. Map Puzzle: Print out a simple map puzzle where the student needs to cut out different shapes representing countries or states. Ask them to put the puzzle together and identify the locations of each piece.
