Activities

  1. Activity 1: Introduction to Capital Letters

    Start by discussing the importance of capital letters and when they should be used. Show examples of sentences with and without capital letters to highlight the difference.

  2. Activity 2: Capital Letters in Sentences and Titles

    Provide a list of sentences and ask the student to identify where capital letters should be used. Discuss the correct answers together and explain the rules for capitalizing the first letter of a sentence and the important words in titles.

  3. Activity 3: Capital Letters for Names of Important Things and People

    Show examples of sentences where names of important things and people are mentioned. Discuss when and how to use capital letters for these names. Have the student practice rewriting the sentences with the correct capitalization.
