Objective

Materials and Prep

  • A doll-themed storybook
  • Pen or pencil
  • Paper or notebook

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a quiet and comfortable space to read and complete the activities.

Activities

  1. Read the doll-themed storybook together with your parent or guardian. Pay attention to the characters, setting, and events in the story.
  2. After reading, discuss the story with your parent or guardian. Talk about your favorite parts, the problem faced by the characters, and how it was resolved.
  3. Write a short summary of the story in your own words. Include the main characters and what happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
  4. Create a drawing or collage of your favorite doll from the story. Use colors and materials that represent the doll's personality and features.
  5. Present your drawing or collage to your parent or guardian. Describe the doll and explain why you like it.
