Objective

  • Counting objects (e.g., buttons, beads)
  • Pen and paper

Activities

  1. Activity 1: Counting Dolls

    Take your dolls and line them up. Count how many dolls you have in total. Write down the number.

  2. Activity 2: Doll Addition

    Choose two dolls and put them together. Count how many dolls you have now. Write down the new number.

  3. Activity 3: Doll Subtraction

    Take away one doll from the group. Count how many dolls are left. Write down the new number.

  4. Activity 4: Doll Patterns

    Create a pattern using your dolls. For example, arrange them in a repeating sequence of colors or sizes. Describe the pattern out loud.
