Materials and Prep

• Construction paper (black, orange, and white)
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Markers or crayons
• Pencil
• Halloween-themed stickers (optional)

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have all the materials ready and set up a clean workspace for your art activities.

Activities

1. Create a Jack-o'-Lantern

Draw a large pumpkin shape on the orange construction paper using a pencil. Cut out the pumpkin shape and use markers or crayons to draw a spooky face on it. Glue the finished Jack-o'-Lantern onto a black construction paper background.

2. Make a Ghost

Draw a ghost shape on the white construction paper using a pencil. Cut out the ghost shape and decorate it with markers or crayons. You can also add Halloween-themed stickers for extra fun. Glue the ghost onto a black construction paper background.

3. Create a Bat

Draw a bat shape on the black construction paper using a pencil. Cut out the bat shape and decorate it with markers or crayons. Glue the bat onto a white construction paper background.
