Materials and Prep
- Bible (Adam and Eve story)
- Paper and crayons
- Optional: Storytelling props (e.g., toy animals, tree cutouts)
Activities
Read the Adam and Eve Bible story together, discussing the key events and characters.
Ask the student to draw a picture of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Encourage them to include details such as the tree, animals, and the serpent.
After they finish drawing, have a conversation about the picture. Ask questions like:
- "Who are the main characters in the picture?"
- "What do you see in the Garden of Eden?"
- "What is happening in the story?"
Encourage the student to retell the Adam and Eve story in their own words. This can be done orally or through a simple drawing sequence.
