Activities

Ask the student to think of different things they can find on a farm. Write down their ideas on a piece of paper. Encourage them to use descriptive words like "big red barn," "green grass," or "happy cows."
Using the descriptive words from the previous activity, ask the student to draw a picture of a farm. Encourage them to include as many details as possible.
Ask the student to write a short sentence or two about their farm drawing. Remind them to use the descriptive words they brainstormed earlier. If needed, provide sentence starters like "I see a..." or "There is a..."
