Activities

  1. Introduction to Dragons: Start by discussing what dragons are and their characteristics. Show pictures of different dragons to spark imagination and interest.

  2. Dragon Art Exploration: Look at different styles of dragon art, such as Chinese dragon paintings, medieval dragon illustrations, or cartoon dragons. Discuss the unique features of each style and encourage the student to express their preferences.

  3. Create Your Dragon: Provide the student with a blank sheet of paper or canvas and let them draw their own dragon. Encourage them to use their imagination and incorporate elements from the dragon styles discussed earlier.

  4. Color and Decorate: Once the dragon drawing is complete, let the student color it using their chosen coloring materials. They can also cut out additional shapes or decorations from colored paper and glue them onto their artwork to add more details.

  5. Dragon Art Showcase: Display the finished dragon artworks in a designated area and have a mini art show. Encourage the student to talk about their artwork and share what they like about it.
