Objective

Activities

  1. Research Gymnastics History

    Using the internet or books, research the history of gymnastics. Take notes on important events, influential gymnasts, and the countries that have excelled in gymnastics.

  2. Locate Gymnastics Powerhouses

    Using a world map or globe, locate and mark the countries that have a strong gymnastics tradition. Discuss why these countries might excel in gymnastics (e.g., cultural factors, training facilities, coaching methods).

  3. Create a Gymnastics Fact Sheet

    Choose one of the countries known for gymnastics and create a fact sheet. Include information such as the country's name, capital, population, official language, and any notable gymnasts from that country.
