Materials and Prep

- Plastic tray or mat for easy cleanup

Activities
- Create a Play-Doh duck habitat: Use different colors of Play-Doh to create a pond, grass, trees, and other elements to make a habitat for your Play-Doh duck.
- Discuss the importance of a clean environment: Talk about how ducks and other animals need clean water and a healthy habitat to survive.
- Pollute the habitat: Add small pieces of Play-Doh or other objects to represent pollution in the habitat, such as trash or oil spills.
- Clean up the habitat: Remove the pollution from the habitat by carefully taking out the Play-Doh pieces or objects representing pollution.
- Reflect on the activity: Discuss how the habitat looks before and after cleaning up the pollution. Talk about the importance of taking care of our environment.
