Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand the importance of physical activity and learn basic movement skills through playing board games.
Materials and Prep
- Board games (preferably ones that involve physical movement)
- Open space to play and move around
- Printed copies of the rules for each board game
Activities

Introduce the concept of physical activity and its benefits to the student. Discuss why it is important to stay active and how it helps keep our bodies healthy.

Explain the rules of the selected board game(s) to the student. Emphasize any physical movements involved in the game.

Play the board game(s) with the student, ensuring they understand the rules and encouraging them to actively participate and move as required by the game.

After playing the board game(s), have a discussion with the student about the physical movements they performed during the game and how it made them feel. Ask them to reflect on the importance of being physically active.
