Activities
- Introduction: Begin by discussing the concept of bugs and their importance in nature. Talk about how bugs have different characteristics and live in various habitats.
- Bug Hunt: Take the student outside to explore and observe bugs. Encourage them to use their magnifying glass to get a closer look at the bugs they find.
- Bug Observation: When the student finds a bug, have them carefully capture it in the small container with holes. Allow them to observe the bug for a few minutes before releasing it back into its natural habitat.
- Recording: In their notebook, have the student draw and describe the bugs they observed. Ask them to note any interesting characteristics or behaviors they noticed.
