Warm-up: Sing the alphabet song together and point to each letter on the alphabet flashcards as you sing.

Phonics Sound Hunt: Go on a phonics sound hunt around your house. Look for objects that start with different phonics sounds. When you find an object, say its name out loud and identify the sound it starts with. Write down the objects and their corresponding letters on the whiteboard or paper.

Phonics Sound Sorting: Sort the alphabet flashcards into two groups - one for letters that make the same sound and another for letters that make different sounds. Discuss the similarities and differences between the letters in each group.

Letter Tracing: Choose a few letters from the alphabet flashcards and practice tracing them with your finger on the whiteboard or paper. Say the sound of each letter as you trace it.
