Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand and practice basic writing skills, including letter recognition, letter formation, and simple sentence construction.

Activities

  1. Letter Hunt: Go on a letter hunt around your house or backyard. Look for objects that start with different letters of the alphabet. Write down the letter and the name of the object next to it.
  2. Letter Tracing: Practice tracing letters on a piece of paper. Start with uppercase letters and then move on to lowercase letters. Remember to hold your pencil or crayon correctly and trace each letter carefully.
  3. Sentence Building: Use the letters you traced to create simple sentences. Start with basic subject-verb-object sentences, such as "I see a cat." Write down your sentences and read them aloud.
