No prior knowledge of Spanish is required for this lesson.
Activities

Introduce yourself: Write your name on the whiteboard and explain how to say "My name is" in Spanish, which is "Me llamo". Have the student practice introducing themselves using this phrase.

Counting practice: Write the numbers 1 to 10 on the whiteboard. Teach the student how to pronounce each number in Spanish. Have them practice counting from 1 to 10 out loud.

Greetings and phrases: Write common greetings and phrases in Spanish on index cards. Show each card to the student and have them repeat the phrase after you. Encourage them to practice using these phrases in context.
