Activities

  1. Warm-up Exercise: Start the lesson with a fun warm-up activity. You can choose to do jumping jacks, jogging in place, or any other physical activity that gets your heart rate up.

  2. Mindful Breathing: Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a few seconds, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this for a few minutes, focusing on your breath and letting go of any tension or stress.

  3. Healthy Habits Discussion: Write down three healthy habits that you can practice every day. For example, eating fruits and vegetables, getting enough sleep, and staying hydrated. Discuss why these habits are important for your physical and mental well-being.

  4. Physical Activity Challenge: Choose a physical activity that you enjoy, such as dancing, yoga, or playing a sport. Spend at least 15 minutes engaging in the activity and try to challenge yourself by setting a goal or trying something new.

  5. Reflect and Journal: Take a few minutes to reflect on how you feel after the physical activity. Write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal. Consider how physical activity can positively impact your mental health.
