Introduction to self-defense: Discuss the importance of self-defense and its role in personal safety. Explain that self-defense is not about fighting, but rather about protecting oneself and avoiding dangerous situations whenever possible.

Basic self-defense techniques: Teach and practice a few basic self-defense techniques, such as palm strikes, elbow strikes, and knee strikes. Emphasize the importance of targeting vulnerable areas of an attacker, such as the nose, throat, groin, and eyes.

Partner drills: Pair up the student with a family member or friend. Have them take turns practicing the self-defense techniques learned earlier. Encourage them to focus on technique and accuracy rather than force.

Cool-down and reflection: End the lesson with a 5-minute cool-down consisting of stretching exercises. Allow the student to reflect on what they have learned and discuss any questions or concerns they may have.
