- Paper and crayons
- Seasonal pictures or flashcards (optional)
Activities
- Introduction: Begin by discussing what seasons are and their importance. Talk about how the weather, plants, and activities change in each season.
- Season Sorting: Show pictures or flashcards representing different seasons. Ask the student to identify each season and sort them into piles accordingly.
- Seasonal Drawings: Give the student a piece of paper and crayons. Ask them to draw a picture representing each season. Encourage them to include specific elements that are unique to each season, such as snowflakes for winter or flowers for spring.
- Seasonal Discussion: After the drawings are complete, have a discussion about each season. Ask the student to describe what they included in their drawings and why those things are associated with each season.
