Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will have completed a full body workout, improving your overall physical fitness and strength.

Materials and Prep

  • Comfortable workout clothes
  • Exercise mat or soft surface
  • Water bottle
  • Open space with enough room for movement

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have enough space to move around safely and comfortably. Also, keep a water bottle nearby to stay hydrated throughout the workout.

Activities

  1. Warm-up: Start with a 5-minute jog in place or around your designated workout area to get your heart rate up and prepare your muscles for exercise.
  2. Stretching: Perform a series of dynamic stretches to loosen up your muscles. This can include arm circles, leg swings, and torso twists.
  3. Cardiovascular exercise: Choose a high-intensity activity such as jumping jacks, mountain climbers, or burpees. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 repetitions with short breaks in between.
  4. Strength training: Complete a circuit of bodyweight exercises targeting different muscle groups. This can include push-ups, squats, lunges, planks, and sit-ups. Aim for 2-3 sets of 10-15 repetitions for each exercise.
  5. Cool-down: Finish the workout with a 5-minute walk or slow jog to gradually bring your heart rate down. Then, perform static stretches to help your muscles recover and prevent post-workout soreness.
