Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a short description of your Halloween costume and create a simple story about being a cat.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper
  • Pencil or crayons

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a basic understanding of what a cat looks like and some ideas for your costume.

Activities

  1. Describe your costume: Start by writing or drawing a picture of your cat costume. Use your imagination to describe what your costume looks like. What color is it? Does it have stripes or spots? Does it have a tail or whiskers? Write or draw your description on a piece of paper.
  2. Create a simple story: Imagine you are a cat on Halloween night. What adventures would you have? Where would you go? Who would you meet? Write or draw a simple story about being a cat on Halloween. Use your imagination and have fun!
