Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify and name the 7 continents.
Materials and Prep
- World map or globe
- Blank piece of paper
- Colored pencils or markers
Activities

Start by showing the world map or globe to the student.
Ask the student to point out the different continents on the map or globe.
Discuss the shapes and sizes of the continents.

Give the student a blank piece of paper and ask them to draw the outline of the continents.
Encourage them to use different colors for each continent.

Once the drawing is complete, review the names of the continents with the student.
Ask the student to label each continent on their drawing.

Engage in a discussion about the different characteristics of each continent.
For example, talk about the weather, animals, or famous landmarks found on each continent.
