Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify and locate the 7 continents on a world map.
Materials and Prep
- World map or globe
- Blank paper
- Colored pencils or markers
No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Start by showing the world map or globe to your student and pointing out the different continents.
- Give your student a blank piece of paper and ask them to draw the outline of a world map.
- Using colored pencils or markers, have your student color each continent in a different color.
- Ask your student to label each continent on their map.
- Once they are done, review the map together and make sure all the continents are correctly labeled.
