Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to write a descriptive essay about their favorite natural environment.

Activities

  1. Take a nature walk in your favorite natural environment, such as a park, forest, or beach. Observe and pay attention to the sights, sounds, smells, and textures around you.

    Take notes on your observations, using descriptive language to capture the essence of the environment.

  2. Once you have returned home, use your notes to write a descriptive essay about your favorite natural environment. Include vivid descriptions and sensory details to bring the place to life for your readers.

    Make sure to organize your essay with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Use descriptive language and strong vocabulary to engage your readers.

  3. After completing your essay, read it aloud to yourself or someone else. Take note of any areas that could be improved or revised for clarity and impact.

    Revise your essay based on the feedback you received, paying attention to sentence structure, word choice, and overall flow.

  4. Share your final essay with others, either by publishing it on a blog or sharing it with friends and family. Encourage feedback and engage in discussions about the natural environment you described.
