Activities

  1. Introduction: Start by discussing the student's interest in New York City. Ask what they already know about the city and what they would like to learn more about.

  2. Research: Guide the student on how to use a search engine or library catalog to find books, articles, or websites about New York City. Encourage them to take notes on interesting facts, landmarks, or famous people associated with the city.

  3. Writing: Have the student write a short paragraph or create a poster about their favorite aspect of New York City. Encourage them to use the information they gathered during their research.

  4. Sharing: Give the student an opportunity to share their paragraph or poster with a family member or friend. Discuss what they learned and any new discoveries they made.
