Activities
- Read a Truck and Car Book: Start the lesson by reading a fun and engaging book about trucks and cars. Encourage the toddler to point out and name different vehicles they see in the book.
- Create a Truck or Car Craft: Provide the toddler with construction paper, markers or crayons, scissors, and glue. Guide them to draw and cut out their favorite truck or car shape. Then, help them glue on magazine or newspaper pictures of trucks and cars to decorate their craft.
- Make Car Tracks: Using markers or crayons, help the toddler draw roads and tracks on a large piece of paper. Let them drive their toy trucks and cars on the tracks, encouraging imaginative play and storytelling as they go.
- Act Out a Truck Story: Use toy trucks and cars to act out a simple story. Encourage the toddler to make different vehicle sounds and describe what the trucks and cars are doing in the story.
