Objective

Activities

1. Choose a piece of art or design that interests you. It can be a painting, sculpture, graphic design, or any other form of visual art.

   Take some time to observe the artwork closely, paying attention to the colors, shapes, lines, textures, and overall composition.

   Write a short paragraph describing your initial thoughts and feelings about the artwork. What emotions does it evoke? What do you think the artist was trying to convey?

2. Select a literary work that you enjoy or are currently studying. Look for visual elements within the text, such as vivid descriptions of scenes, characters, or objects.

   Identify specific passages that contain visual imagery and write them down.

   Create a visual representation of one of the passages using your preferred artistic medium (e.g., drawing, painting, collage).

   Write a short reflection explaining how your artwork captures the essence of the passage and enhances your understanding of the text.

3. Research an artist or designer who incorporates literature or literary themes into their work.

   Write a brief biography of the artist/designer, highlighting their major works and their connection to literature.

   Create a visual presentation showcasing their artwork and its relationship to the written word.

   Present your findings to someone in your household or record a video presentation to share with your teacher or classmates.
