Materials and Prep

- Pen and paper
Before starting the lesson, make sure the student is familiar with basic Lego terminology and has a basic understanding of spelling rules.
Activities

Build and Spell
Ask the student to choose a Lego creation and write down its name. Then, using Lego bricks, have them build the creation. Finally, ask them to spell the name of the creation out loud, making sure they spell it correctly. Encourage them to double-check their spelling using the written name.

Word Search
Create a word search puzzle using Lego-related words. Provide the student with the puzzle and ask them to find and circle the words. Once they have completed the word search, have them write down the words they found and spell them correctly.

Spelling Bee
Prepare a list of Lego-related words with varying levels of difficulty. Conduct a spelling bee where the student has to spell the words out loud. Offer encouragement and assistance when needed. Keep track of correctly spelled words and discuss any misspelled words afterward.
