Objective

Activities

  1. Start by preparing the pots or containers with potting soil.
  2. Plant the pumpkin seeds in the soil, following the instructions on the seed packet.
  3. Water the soil gently using a watering can or spray bottle.
  4. Place the pots or containers in a sunny spot where the pumpkins will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.
  5. Monitor the soil moisture and water the plants as needed, ensuring they are not overwatered.
  6. Observe and document the growth of the pumpkin plants over time, noting any changes or challenges encountered.
  7. Research and implement appropriate pest control methods, if necessary, to protect the pumpkin plants.
  8. Harvest the pumpkins once they are fully grown and ripe, following the guidelines for each pumpkin variety.

Throughout the activities, take photographs or create sketches to document the different stages of pumpkin growth. Keep a journal to record your observations, challenges faced, and lessons learned during the process.
