Activities
- Start by discussing the concept of animal migrations with the student. Explain that migration is the regular movement of animals from one place to another in search of better food, breeding grounds, or climate.
- Ask the student to think of some animals they know that migrate. Write down their answers on a piece of paper.
- Research together about different animals that migrate. Use books or the internet to find information about specific animals and their migration patterns. Discuss their reasons for migrating and the challenges they face during the journey.
- Encourage the student to draw or create a collage of their favorite migrating animal. They can include details about its migration route, habitat, and any interesting facts they learned.
- Share and discuss the student's artwork. Ask them to explain why they chose that particular animal and what they find fascinating about its migration.
