3. Guide the student in writing a simple sentence about their favorite farm animal.

4. Have the student draw a picture of their favorite farm animal.

Remind them to include details that make the animal recognizable.

5. Ask the student to share their sentence and show their drawing with you or a family member.

Encourage them to explain why they chose that animal and what they learned about it.
