Activities
- Build a Lego scene: Use your Lego bricks to create a scene from the story you will be reading. Think about the characters, setting, and events in the story.
- Storytime: Read the Lego-themed storybook together. Pay attention to the words and pictures in the book.
- Retell the story: Use the index cards or small pieces of paper to create story cards. Draw or write a key event from the story on each card. Mix up the cards and then try to put them in the correct order to retell the story.
- Word hunt: Go back to the Lego-themed storybook and search for specific words. For example, find all the words that start with the letter "L" or find all the words that rhyme with "block".
