Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the basic concepts of the reproductive system in humans.

Materials and Prep

  • Pen and paper
  • Internet access for research (optional)

No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Research and Draw: Use your pen and paper to research and draw a labeled diagram of the male reproductive system. Include the following parts: testes, epididymis, vas deferens, prostate gland, and penis.

  2. Research and Label: Research and label the female reproductive system. Draw a diagram and include the following parts: ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina.

  3. Compare and Contrast: Write a short paragraph comparing and contrasting the male and female reproductive systems. Include at least three similarities and three differences.
