Activities

Read a Black History book together and discuss the main characters and events. Ask questions to encourage comprehension and critical thinking.

Choose one important figure from Black History and have the student draw a picture of them on construction paper. Assist if needed.

Write the name of the figure on the paper and help the student decorate it with colors and patterns.
