Activities

  1. Christmas Math Word Problems:

    Create a set of word problems related to Christmas. For example:

    • "Santa has 8 reindeer. Each reindeer pulls a sleigh with 10 presents. How many presents are there in total?"
    • "You have 3 stockings and each stocking has 5 candies. How many candies do you have in total?"

    Have the student solve these word problems using arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division).

  2. Christmas Around the World:

    Research how Christmas is celebrated in different countries around the world. Choose at least three countries and create a chart or a presentation to compare their traditions, decorations, and customs.
