Objective
The objective of this lesson is for the homeschool student to practice and reinforce their number recognition, writing, and spelling skills for numbers 1-10.

Activities
- Number Identification: Write down numbers 1-10 in a random order. Ask the student to identify each number and say it out loud.
- Number Writing: Have the student practice writing each number 1-10 multiple times. Encourage them to pay attention to correct formation and neatness.
- Number Spelling: Call out a number between 1-10 and ask the student to spell it aloud. Repeat this activity several times, mixing up the order of the numbers.

- Number 6 is the number of sides on a regular hexagon. It is also a multiple of 2 and 3.
- Number 7 is often considered a lucky number. It is also the number of days in a week.
- Number 8 is the number of legs on a spider. It is also a multiple of 2 and 4.
- Number 9 is the highest single-digit number. It is also the number of innings in a game of baseball.
- Number 10 is the number of fingers on both hands. It is also the base of our number system.
