- Markers or crayons
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Number Recognition: Write numbers 1-10 on the whiteboard or large paper. Point to each number and ask the student to say the number out loud.
- Number Writing: Give the student a marker or crayon. Call out a number between 1-10 and ask the student to write it on the whiteboard or large paper. Repeat this activity multiple times.
- Number Spelling: Choose a number between 1-10 and ask the student to spell it out loud. Encourage them to use the correct sequence of letters for each number.

- "Let's start by recognizing the numbers. Can you point to the number 5?"
